ShotSpotter, Inc. Appoints New Vice President of International Business Development and Sales
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- ShotSpotter, Inc., the leading developer of mission-essential wide-area acoustic surveillance systems for law enforcement, homeland security and military has announced that Richard Meyerhoff has joined its management team as Vice President of International Business Development and Sales. Meyerhoff, who brings over 20 years of executive and international sales experience in hi-tech, security systems, and defense industries, will spearhead ShotSpotter's international business development strategy and global sales initiatives.

Meyerhoff comes to ShotSpotter from Implant Sciences Corporation (AMEX: IMX) where he acted as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Service. Prior to this Meyerhoff served as Vice President of Global Sales of the Security and Detection Systems division of L-3 Communications, helping the division to become a leading supplier of security screening systems. From 1995 to 2003, he held the position of Managing Director of various divisions for Thermo NORAN, a subsidiary of Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc. (NYSE: TMO). He began his career in the security industry at EG&G Astrophysics and holds a Masters degree in Business and Administration from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Universidad Catolica Argentina. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Polish.
